Levitation Poolside
“This was a fine art commission that had many weeks of preproduction, including constant checks of the weather. Sun
and wind levels were of the essence, as I wanted to have a clear sky with no wind to capture the stillness and tranquility
of the water. Amazingly, this image came by chance as the original shot was taken from a perspective five metres
above them from the balcony. It was only when I came down to ground level that was I struck by the uncanny central
positioning of the sun. This is where the beauty of this lens shines, even by shooting directly into the sun then stopping
down on my aperture I could achieve this starburst effect.”
