“Holding the ILCE-9 with the 600mm f/4 G Master lens above the water whilst using the tilted screen to focus is not only
a great physical exercise, but it also creates a rush of adrenalin too. The minimal focusing distance is quite long, but the
combination of the focal length and wide aperture can easily isolate the subject and completely melt the background.
These bohemian frogs didn’t enjoy company, so I would have had a very hard time using a shorter focal length.”
