“This environmental portrait features a HEMS (helicopter emergency medical service) pilot with his helicopter reflected
in the visor. Isolating the pilot from his environment was achieved using a wide aperture. This provided good subject
separation from the background whilst adding narrative through the reflected helicopter.”
