Amsterdam Moon
“This is a photo of the Basilica of Saint Nicholas in Amsterdam with the moon setting between the towers. It was shot
during the supermoon in 2019. Though some planning was involved, I lucked out by getting a very beautiful thin layer
of clouds that gives this shot more atmosphere. Waking up at 4am, planning, and a lot of standing in the cold are
required to get shots like this. This shot is a great example of the power of the 100-400 mm G Master lens. It is one of
the sharpest zooms and retains its sharpness with a 2x extender easily.”
