“Apart from a powerful portrait, there’s more to this image than just a beautiful girl wearing a hat. A cover shot for the
award winning inflight magazine Revista UP, the hat was specially made in the shape of the newly built cruise ship
terminal called Leixoes Port in Porto, Portugal, and the miniature figures represent the travellers. This was the first
time that I used the 70-200mm f/2.8 G Master as a portrait lens, and I haven’t stopped using it since. It is one of the
sharpest lenses that I know of.”
