“The ruins of a medieval castle in Northern Ireland along the scenic Causeway Coastal Route. Perched precariously on a
basalt outcrop joined to the mainland by an arched walkway, Dunluce Castle dates from at least Norman times and an
even earlier fort occupied the site before that. In 1639, the castle’s kitchen fell into the sea taking the cooking staff with
it. Locals say a baneful banshee still haunts the castle on stormy nights.”
