Lonely Tree
“This mangrove tree is a lonely survivor of a once thick forest that covered miles of coastline near Kuakata, Bangladesh,
until it was devoured by storms and advancing tides. In Bangladesh, the effects of climate change are happening now.
It may lose more than 10% of its land to sea-level rise within a few decades. The wide-angle allowed me to compose a
frame that strengthened the power of the solitary tree.”
